Personal History For as long as Noah Fields could remember, he wanted to be a Doctor. Like his father before him Noah's life had always been surrounded by the medical field. Wilson Fields-"Doc" as he was called-never hid the gruesome parts of life in Star Fleet from his only son despite his mother's protestations. Doc viewed it as a great education.

All of his life the Fields lived on Starships and Starbases constantly moving where the Fleet sent him. Though Doc's career took precedent in these moves, Ryza Fields career as an engineer was just as important.

Noah early schooling was done by his parents, particularly his mother. When Noah turned 7, they enrolled young Noah into whatever school program that ran in each posting. Noah was a typical child; energetic, with a tendency to get into trouble. While living on Starbase 422 Noah got "lost" inside a Jeffries Tube and had to be kindly escorted to his quarters when it was discovered that he wrote a foul word on one of the bulkheads.

When turned 18, Noah entered Starfleet Medical Academy studying Premed. Here Noah joined several sports teams and was known as a ladies man. However all that energy left him one year before he graduated as his father died on board the USS Odysseyr in the Gamma Quadrant.

During the Dominion War Noah was first assigned to the USS Trident along side Claudia Ainscow. They fell in love quickly. Whether it was the tensity of war or the fear or death that brought them together neither would fully admit that the relationship was not working well. They mutually broke off their relationship when Noah left for his second internship on Starbase 440.

Noah spent most of his time on Starbase 440 too far from the fighting that most of his work was in helping those with long lasting injuries. Noah remained on the base for five years wherein he was sent to the Starship USS Alabama. Here he met his wife Charlotte. They married after four months of courtship. However, their marriage was short. Charlotte died on an away mission.

Stuck in his grief and the memory of her death Noah requested transfer to the USS Halifax. He served aboard that vessel for four years until it was decommissioned in 2388. By request of his old friend Claudia Ainscow he transferred to the USS Vindex as Chief Medical Officer.
